The Royal Queensland Show, aka The Ekka, is celebrating its 140th anniversary and bumper crowds are expected to flock to Brisbane for the ten-day extravaganza from August 11 to 20.
RNA Chief Executive Brendan Christou says the Ekka is Queensland’s largest annual event, attracting around 400,000 people each year.
